WHAT IS IT
Dunlop Sure’s Tyre Insurance is offered to you FREE for 18 months and covers all road hazards, whether it’s just one tyre or up to a maximum of five!
Available at any Dunlop-branded dealership (Zone, Commercial, Express and Container).
What's covered
Tyre Insurance covers irreparable tyre damage for all road hazards.
- Valid for 18 months from date of purchase.
- If irreparably damaged, the tyre will be fully replaced within the first 12 months (twelve) without any costs for tread already used.
- If the tyre claim falls under the last 6 months, then the remaining tread will be calculated, and a credit paid to the dealership on behalf of the customer, directly by the Insurer.
You will however be liable for fitment, balancing and alignment costs.
What's the cost and how to get covered
Tyre Insurance is FREE for 18 months after purchase at a Dunlop-branded dealership.
To activate your insurance cover, you are required to register your policy within 7 days of purchase using any of the following methods:
- At any Dunlop Zone, Express, Commercial or Container store
- The Dunlop tyres website
You’ll need your tyre invoice on hand to complete the registration.
Your dealer can also register on your behalf using the Dunlop Dealer Portal.
Please ensure you have received a policy number directly or through your dealer, as this confirms your registration was completed successfully.
How to lodge claim
You can lodge a claim through any Dunlop dealer in South Africa, eSwatini, Botswana, Namibia and Lesotho. Find your nearest Dunlop dealer here
Note: Claims will not be processed unless the insurance was registered as specified, complete with a valid policy number as confirmation.
